Lessons from the unknown redeemer – Ruth

Lessons from the unknown redeemer – Ruth 4: 2-12
3c. He wouldn’t risk his own security.
v6 “I cannot redeem it because I might endanger my own estate.”
It’s time to endanger our comfort zones. Its time to switch off the ‘what might be’ voices and tune in to the voice of God’s Spirit calling us to become all that we can become.
The unknown redeemer was consumed with selfishness, stubbornness and his own security. He never became anything nor achieved anything of note. Let us kill these idols in our lives and move on to achieve all that God wants for our lives, for we have one wonderful opportunity in this life to live for God and work for Him. Let’s take it and say:
Yes Lord, with no conditions
I can and I will
I risk my security trusting in your arms of love.
