Hearing and seeing
Acts 8:6
“When the crowds heard Philip and saw the miraculous signs he did, they all paid close attention to what he said.”
Hearing and seeing equated to the crowd paying attention.
Maybe the reason why the crowds are perhaps today not paying attention is because they are hearing but cannot see any demonstration of God. Or perhaps they are seeing but there is no message, no one is speaking to them.
We do need both. Our words need to be backed up with actions.
