Acts 10:4
“Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.
The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.”

What is it?
What have I done wrong?
What do you need me to do?
What do you want from me?
No none of these.
What is it?
“You’ve already done enough. I don’t need anymore from you. I’ve come because of all you have done.”
That’s what God was saying.
Friends, your prayers are never wasted. You might think no one is listening but this verse shows you that He is. Every prayer no matter how long or short. He hears you. He knows what’s coming out of your mouth and what comes out of your hand. He knows what you do with your money. He knows how generous you are. He knows how you give. You may be a secret giver but God knows.
And your words and your actions move Him towards you!
