Rest in Peace.
“Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them.” (Revelation 14 v 13)
We don’t know who exactly is going to be in the torment of v9-11 but what we do know is:
Evil is evil.
Evil consumes totally.
Evil is ultimately defeated and because of this:-
Death is no longer to be feared.
Death is not the final enemy and ultimate evil.
From now on. From the cross and the resurrection. From the day of our salvation. From Monday 21st November 2022 death defeated has become death a blessing.
